Nordic American Tankers sends suezmax on one-year charter

New York-listed suezmax specialist Nordic American Tankers (NAT) has fixed one of its 2010-built vessels to an undisclosed energy major.

The charter commenced on September 21, for a period of one year at a rate in excess of $30,000 per day.

The Herbjorn Hansson-led firm has a fleet of 20 suezmaxes of which three were built in 2010, the Nordic Cross, Nordic Light and Nordic Vega.
