Zodiac Maritime adds more car carriers at CIMC Raffles

Eyal Ofer’s Zodiac Maritime has recently increased its car carrier orderbook at CIMC Raffles in China by an additional two units bringing it to a total of 10 firm 7,000 ceu LNG dual fuel vessels at an estimated price of around $92.5m per unit.

Brokers indicate that these were not optional vessels but instead a fresh order for early slots with delivery starting in Q4 next year. Zodiac maintains a number of optional vessels at CIMC Raffles. 

Zodiac has fixed between six and eight vessels of its newbuild series to some of the largest car manufacturers in the world.
