Greece-based LNG shipping company GasLog is set to take delivery of another liquefied natural gas newbuild from South Korea’s Samsung Heavy Industries.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 180,000 cubic meter GasLog Wales will join GasLog’s fleet on May 11, 2020, the LNG shipper said on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Once delivered, the vessel will start its 12-year charter with Japan’s LNG trading giant Jera as part of a deal signed <\/a>in March last year.<\/p>\n

The newbuild features GTT\u2019s Mark III Flex Plus containment system and low-pressure two-stroke (X-DF) propulsion.<\/p>\n

This will be GasLog’s second delivery this year as the GasLog Windsor <\/a>joined its fleet on April 1. <\/p>\n

Gaslog has a further five vessels on order at Samsung Heavy.<\/p>\n

These LNG tankers are scheduled for delivery during 2020-2021.<\/p>\n
