Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Company (ASRY) has completed a scrubber retrofit project in a record 29 days, the shipyard said.<\/strong><\/p>\n Shipowners have been investing heavily in the installation of scrubbers on their ships as a way of meeting the IMO 2020 sulphur cap that entered into force on January 1, 2020.<\/p>\n Shipyards in Asia, predominantly account for the majority of scrubber retrofits.
