Italian shipping company d\u2019Amico International Shipping S.A. (DIS) said that its joint venture with Swiss commodity trader Glencore Group has decided to sell a medium range (MR) tanker.<\/strong> <\/p>\n As informed, Glenda International Shipping d.a.c. (GIS) signed a memorandum of agreement with an undisclosed buyer for the sale of MT Glenda Meredith, one of its five ships.<\/p>\n The 46,147 dwt MR vessel, built at South Korean Hyundai Mipo shipyard in 2010, will be sold for US$ 19 million. <\/p>\n This transaction allows GIS to generate around US$ 18.8 million in cash, net of commissions, having already fully reimbursed the vessel\u2019s bank loan in October 2019, according to DIS.<\/p>\n Last year, GIS also disposed of Glenda Megan<\/a>, another MR vessel.
