However, it\u2019s our responsibility to safeguard our business and we are now taking steps to maintain competitiveness in the challenging market environment,\u201d says CEO J\u00f8rn Madsen.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0In a <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"statement (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.maerskdrilling.com\/news-and-media\/press-releases\/maersk-drilling-takes-steps-to-adapt-offshore-crew-pool-to-the-changing-market-environment\" target=\"_blank\">statement<\/a>, Maersk Drilling said some tenders and projects are being delayed or cancelled. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>On April 16, the company announced it received notice of early termination for two drilling contracts involving the semi-submersible Maersk Developer and jack-up rig Maersk Reacher.
