{"id":8306,"date":"2020-04-20T14:49:09","date_gmt":"2020-04-20T11:49:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.al-sindbad.net\/mhi-vestas-sov-touches-water-in-turkey\/8306\/"},"modified":"2020-04-20T14:49:09","modified_gmt":"2020-04-20T11:49:09","slug":"mhi-vestas-sov-touches-water-in-turkey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.al-sindbad.net\/mhi-vestas-sov-touches-water-in-turkey\/8306\/","title":{"rendered":"MHI Vestas SOV touches water in Turkey"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cemre Shipyard has launched the first of the three service operation vessels (SOVs) currently under construction for MHI Vestas and Esvagt at its yard in Turkey.<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.offshorewind.biz\/file\/sites\/6\/2020\/04\/20132856\/MHI-Vestas-SOV-Touches-Water-in-Turkey.png\" alt=\"MHI Vestas SOV touches water in Turkey\" class=\"wp-image-277539\" \/><figcaption>Source: Cemre Shipyard\/YouTube<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The vessels are of the Havyard 831 L SOV design and <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"will service (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.offshorewind.biz\/2018\/09\/17\/mhi-vestas-orders-two-new-esvagt-sovs\/\" target=\"_blank\">will service<\/a> the Borssele III and IV offshore wind farm in the Netherlands, the Triton Knoll wind farm offshore England, and the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Moray East (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.offshorewind.biz\/2018\/12\/18\/mhi-vestas-confirms-sov-order-for-moray-east-offshore-wind-farm\/\" target=\"_blank\">Moray East<\/a> wind farm off Scotland.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.offshorewind.biz\/?s=borssele+III\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Borssele III and IV (opens in a new tab)\">Borssele III and IV<\/a> SOV is scheduled for delivery in the third quarter of 2020 when it will start servicing the wind farm&#8217;s 77 MHI Vestas V164 9.5 MW turbines installed some 22 kilometres off the coast of the Zeeland Province.<\/p>\n<p>The <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Triton Knoll (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.offshorewind.biz\/?s=triton+knoll\" target=\"_blank\">Triton Knoll<\/a> SOV is slated for delivery in the first quarter of 2021 to start work on the wind farm&#8217;s 90 MHI Vestas 9.5 MW turbines some 33 kilometres off the coast of Lincolnshire.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.offshorewind.biz\/?s=moray+east\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Moray East (opens in a new tab)\">Moray East<\/a> SOV is expected to be delivered in the first quarter of 2021.
