{"id":7550,"date":"2020-04-07T12:10:58","date_gmt":"2020-04-07T09:10:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.al-sindbad.net\/okeanis-eco-tankers-seals-three-year-vlcc-charter\/7550\/"},"modified":"2020-04-07T12:10:58","modified_gmt":"2020-04-07T09:10:58","slug":"okeanis-eco-tankers-seals-three-year-vlcc-charter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.al-sindbad.net\/okeanis-eco-tankers-seals-three-year-vlcc-charter\/7550\/","title":{"rendered":"Okeanis Eco Tankers seals three-year VLCC charter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p>Okeanis Eco Tankers, the Oslo-listed Alafouzos family tanker vehicle, has opted to move one of its ships from the spot market,\u00a0securing a very healthy rate on a long-term time charter for one of its VLCCs.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Primarily a spot market player, Okeanis Eco Tankers has entered into a time charter contract with an unnamed international energy company for one of its VLCCs for a period of three years firm.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Either of the 2019-built pair <em>Nissos Anafi<\/em> or <em>Nissos Kythnos<\/em> will be used for the charter, which the company says will generate around $17.5m of gross annual revenue indicating a day rate of around $48,000.\u00a0The latest weekly market report from Charles R.
