As such, we wanted to launch the <strong>Passage Plan+ Guide<\/strong> to enhance our members&#8217; existing plans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The<strong>\u00a0Passage Plan+ Guide<\/strong> includes several suggestions to provide a more resilient <strong>Voyage\/Passage Plan<\/strong>, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Port cards: Used for port-specific information about each vessel<\/li>\n<li>Voyage\/Passage planning in confined waters<\/li>\n<li>Route, maneuvering, mooring, and towing plans<\/li>\n<li>Sharing pilotage plans before the pilot boards<\/li>\n<li>Bridge team setup, including officer monitoring<\/li>\n<li>Communication<\/li>\n<li>Due diligence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A robust and efficient <strong>Voyage\/Passage Plan<\/strong> can help the bridge team detect anomalies, errors, and faults that could otherwise lead to grounding, contact, or collision. Whilst no system is perfect, a prepared bridge team is better at detecting an issue before it is too late.
