{"id":4325,"date":"2020-01-19T18:19:56","date_gmt":"2020-01-19T15:19:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.al-sindbad.net\/?p=4325"},"modified":"2020-01-19T18:19:58","modified_gmt":"2020-01-19T15:19:58","slug":"hapag-lloyd-inks-space-charter-deal-with-maersk-and-msc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.al-sindbad.net\/hapag-lloyd-inks-space-charter-deal-with-maersk-and-msc\/4325\/","title":{"rendered":"Hapag-Lloyd Inks Space Charter Deal with Maersk and MSC"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"content\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>German shipping major Hapag-Lloyd has signed a space charter agreement with the members of the 2M Alliance \u2013 Maersk and Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As informed, the space charter deal will give Hapag-Lloyd access to selected services of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/worldmaritimenews.com\/archives\/149314\/2m-alliance-officially-launched\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2M<\/a>\u00a0on the Asia-North Europe trade.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u201cThe addition of these services will enable Hapag-Lloyd to offer an even higher frequency of weekly departures and more routing options as well as to directly serve additional ports with high schedule reliability,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>the company said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The carrier\u2019s expanded product offering on the Asia-North Europe trade will start in March 2020 and additional details will be provided in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Earlier this month, Hapag-Lloyd\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/worldmaritimenews.com\/archives\/289187\/hapag-lloyd-sets-sights-on-new-orders\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">revealed<\/a>\u00a0it was considering investments in new ships.
