{"id":34548,"date":"2023-09-08T10:47:30","date_gmt":"2023-09-08T07:47:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.al-sindbad.net\/uni-tankers-expands-fleet-with-one-buy-and-four-newbuild-orders\/34548\/"},"modified":"2023-09-08T10:47:30","modified_gmt":"2023-09-08T07:47:30","slug":"uni-tankers-expands-fleet-with-one-buy-and-four-newbuild-orders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.al-sindbad.net\/uni-tankers-expands-fleet-with-one-buy-and-four-newbuild-orders\/34548\/","title":{"rendered":"Uni-Tankers expands fleet with one buy and four newbuild orders"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"entry-content entry clearfix\">\n<div class=\"mailmunch-forms-before-post\" style=\"display: none !important;\"><\/div>\n<p>Uni-Tankers said in a statement that it would be adding the 6,043 dwt modern ECO vessel<br \/>\n\t\t\t<span style=\"color:#00adeb;\" class=\"mt_tooltip\" data-mturl=\"\/en\/ais\/details\/ships\/shipid:6921953\/mmsi:256180000\/vessel:6921953\" data-info=\"SEDAT BASAK [MT]\" data-photourl=\"https:\/\/www.al-sindbad.net\/file\/2023\/09\/Uni-Tankers-expands-fleet-with-one-buy-and-four-newbuild-orders.aspx.jpeg\" data-assetname=\"9940100\" data-assettype=\"IMO number\">Sedat Basak<\/span> to its owned fleet.<\/p>\n<p>The company also signed a long-term deal for two newbuild sister vessels to <em>Sedat Basak<\/em> with stainless steel tanks which will be delivered in 2024 and 2025.<\/p>\n<p>All three vessels are of modern ECO design and, according to the tanker owner, are approximately 30% more fuel efficient than conventional vessels of the same size.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mailmunch-forms-in-post-middle\" style=\"display: none !important;\"><\/div>\n<p>Furthermore, Uni-Tankers signed a contract with a Japanese partner for a long-term deal for two 12,500 dwt stainless-steel newbuilds with delivery in 2025 and 2026.
