Delivery dates and financial details have not been disclosed, but the state-owned shipyard said the multipurpose carriers will be built for CITIC.<\/p>\n<p>The MPV units will be fit to carry pulp, containers, new energy vehicles, and other goods, the shipyard said, adding that the newbuilds will meet the International Maritime Organization\u2019s Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) Phase 3 specifications.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mailmunch-forms-in-post-middle\" style=\"display: none !important;\"><\/div>\n<p>The 160-m-long asphalt carrier has been designed with three independent liquid cargo tanks with four cargo holds each, which can meet the requirements of most asphalt cargo terminals.
