Image courtesy Cal Maritime\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div property=\"articleBody\">\n<p><strong>Ally Cedeno<\/strong>, founder and president of the<strong>\u00a0Women Offshore Foundatio<\/strong><strong>n<\/strong>, has been selected to address<strong>\u00a0California State University Maritime Academy\u2019s<\/strong> class of 2023 at its Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 6. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Cedeno is a 2008 graduate of the <strong>U.S. Merchant Marine Academy<\/strong> and a 2020 graduate of Rice University\u2019s Jones Graduate School of Business with a master\u2019s degree in Business Administration. She is licensed as a chief mate of unlimited tonnage vessels and has worked as a senior dynamic positioning operator. Her experience on the water spans both the maritime and offshore energy industries over the last 15 years.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>At <strong>Transocean<\/strong>, Cedeno is the human resources focal point for four ultra-deepwater drill ships.
