On January 1, Magdalena Bosson will become the new Ports of Stockholm Chief Executive Officer.<\/p>\n
On December 1, Stockholms Hamn AB Board of Directors appointed Magdalena Bosson as the company’s Chief Executive Officer. Bosson has many years extensive experience from her previous roles, which include Transport Department Director at Stockholm City Council, Chief Executive Officer at Familjebost\u00e4der, Deputy County Governor of the County Administrative Board of Stockholm, Municipality of Huddinge Deputy Director and most recently as Stockholm City Mangager.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am very happy to announce that Magdalena Bosson will become Ports of Stockholm Chief Executive Officer. She has an eminently suitable background with extensive experience of driving infrastructure issues and leading politically governed organisations,\u201d said Clara Lindblom, Chair of the Board of Ports of Stockholm.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have followed the development of the ports in my previous roles and I am very happy to now be taking over as Chief Executive Officer for Ports of Stockholm. Developing vital infrastructure for sustainable transport to and from the Stockholm Region, together with our customers and colleagues, will be very rewarding,\u201d Bosson said.<\/p>\n
Thomas Andersson, who has been Ports of Stockholm CEO for four years, will now take the post of Executive Director of the City of Stockholm Development Administration.<\/p>\n

Being able to open Stockholm Norvik Port, navigate through the pandemic and time of crisis, as well as developing the business, both through important sustainability projects and with new customers, has been incredibly satisfying. A huge thank you to all of my dedicated colleagues and customers for such good collaboration,\u201d \u00a0Andersson said.<\/p>\n
Andersson leaves Ports of Stockholm on December 14, with Alexandra Lindstr\u00f6m, the current Chief Financial Officer at the company stepping in as temporary CEO until January 1, when Bosson takes up her new position.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
