The vessel is debt free and the deal will generate a profit of $12.9m.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEuronav continues to actively manage its fleet ahead of incoming regulations such as EEXI (Energy Efficiency Existing Ship Index) starting in January 2023,\u201d the company with five suezmaxes on order in South Korea said in an Oslo Exchange filing.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mailmunch-forms-in-post-middle\" style=\"display: none !important;\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/splash247.com\/euronav-offloads-oldest-suezmax-pair\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">In June<\/a><\/span>, Euronav shipped out its two oldest suezmax vessels, the 2003-built <em>Cap Leon<\/em>, renamed <em>Nanda Devi<\/em> and the 2004-built <em>Cap Pierre<\/em> renamed <em>Huelva Star<\/em> and also, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/splash247.com\/euronav-banks-34-7m-from-selling-its-vintage-ulcc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">earlier this week<\/a><\/span>, announced the sale of its 2002-built ultra large crude carrier <em>Europe<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The 158,920 dwt <em>Cap Philippe<\/em> has already been delivered and renamed <em>Ikara<\/em>.
