Two other men received minor injuries.<\/p>\n<p>The Thai-flagged <span style=\"color:#00adeb;\" class=\"mt_tooltip\" data-mturl=\"\/en\/ais\/details\/ships\/shipid:733614\/mmsi:567000550\/vessel:733614\" data-mmsi=\"567000550\" data-imo=\"8223660\" data-dwt=\"3044\" data-yob=\"1983\" data-typename=\"Oil Products Tanker\" data-typecolor=\"8\" data-countrycode=\"TH\" data-country=\"Thailand\" data-info=\"Oil Products Tanker [TH]\" data-photourl=\"https:\/\/www.al-sindbad.net\/file\/2022\/03\/Thai-tanker-explodes.aspx.jpeg\" data-assetname=\"SMOOTH SEA 2\" data-assettype=\"Vessel\">Smooth Sea 2<\/span> erupted at around 09.00 hours yesterday morning following a tank explosion. The ship was carrying around 1.8m litres of gasoil and 1.3m litres of diesel.
