{"id":29421,"date":"2022-03-07T02:20:58","date_gmt":"2022-03-06T23:20:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.al-sindbad.net\/nordic-american-tankers-offloads-third-suezmax\/29421\/"},"modified":"2022-03-07T02:20:58","modified_gmt":"2022-03-06T23:20:58","slug":"nordic-american-tankers-offloads-third-suezmax","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.al-sindbad.net\/nordic-american-tankers-offloads-third-suezmax\/29421\/","title":{"rendered":"Nordic American Tankers offloads third suezmax"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"entry-content entry clearfix\">\n<div class=\"mailmunch-forms-before-post\" style=\"display: none !important;\"><\/div>\n<p>Herbjorn Hansson-led Nordic American Tankers (NAT) continues to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/splash247.com\/nordic-american-tankers-to-sell-older-ships-as-it-pushes-for-fleet-renewal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">adjust its fleet<\/a><\/span>, having agreed to sell another 2002-built vessel to an undisclosed buyer.<\/p>\n<p>The sale, which will help NAT reduce its debt, follows disposals of the 2002-built <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/splash247.com\/nordic-american-tankers-sell-suezmax-as-it-pushes-for-fleet-renewal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Nordic Serius<\/a><\/span> in October last year and the 2002-built <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/splash247.com\/nordic-american-tankers-offloads-another-suezmax\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Nordic Mistral<\/a><\/span> last month. The New York-listed suezmax specialist said it would deliver the vessel before the end of this month, without disclosing any further details.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough the sale of the third vessel, the solidity and maneuverability of NAT is enhanced. The net price for NAT is about $15 per vessel, in total $45m,\u201d the company said in a release.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mailmunch-forms-in-post-middle\" style=\"display: none !important;\"><\/div>\n<p>Last month, NAT also secured six-year time charters with Oman\u2019s <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/splash247.com\/nordic-american-tankers-fixes-suezmax-newbuilds-to-omans-asyad\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Asyad Shipping<\/a><\/span> for a pair of suezmax newbuildings set to deliver in May and June of this year.
