{"id":2868,"date":"2019-09-09T13:37:07","date_gmt":"2019-09-09T10:37:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.al-sindbad.net\/?p=2868"},"modified":"2019-09-09T13:37:11","modified_gmt":"2019-09-09T10:37:11","slug":"bw-lng-holds-naming-ceremony-for-lng-carrier-duo-in-korea","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.al-sindbad.net\/bw-lng-holds-naming-ceremony-for-lng-carrier-duo-in-korea\/2868\/","title":{"rendered":"BW LNG Holds Naming Ceremony for LNG Carrier Duo in Korea"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Shipping company&nbsp;BW LNG, part of BW Group, held a naming ceremony for two of its new LNG carriers on September 7.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The vessels, named BW Pavilion Aranda (H2489) and BW Magnolia (H2490), were constructed by South Korea\u2019s Daewoo Shipbuilding &amp; Marine Engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BW Pavilion Aranda will be delivered next week when it will go on a long-term charter to Singapore\u2019s Pavilion Energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second vessel, BW Magnolia, is scheduled to join its owner in December 2019, when it is to start a long-term charter to UK-based oil major BP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each featuring a capacity of 174,000 cbm, the carriers are the third and fourth in a current series of seven newbuildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BW LNG said that all of these units have the latest technical design&nbsp;<em>\u201coffering industry-leading transport efficiency through MEGI propulsion and state-of-the-art reliquefaction systems.\u201d<\/em><br><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Shipping company&nbsp;BW LNG, part of BW Group, held a naming ceremony for two of its new LNG carriers on September 7.
