{"id":2593,"date":"2019-08-19T09:05:43","date_gmt":"2019-08-19T06:05:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.al-sindbad.net\/?p=2593"},"modified":"2019-08-19T09:05:47","modified_gmt":"2019-08-19T06:05:47","slug":"iranian-vlcc-departs-gibraltar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.al-sindbad.net\/iranian-vlcc-departs-gibraltar\/2593\/","title":{"rendered":"Iranian VLCC departs Gibraltar"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The&nbsp;Grace 1, an Iranian VLCC seize by British armed forces off Gibraltar on July 4, has left the UK sovereign territory early this morning and is now making its way east across the Mediterranean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ship was at the centre of a diplomatic storm \u2013&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/splash247.com\/royal-marines-storm-syria-bound-vlcc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">accused of carrying oil for sanctions-hit Syria<\/a>, the Iranians responded in kind by&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/splash247.com\/iran-seizes-stena-and-norbulk-tankers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">seizing a UK-flagged product tanker<\/a>,&nbsp;<em>Stena Impero<\/em>, on July 19.
