Groenvald previously served as Senior Vice President, Head of Chartering for Clipper Bulk, and has over 30 years of drybulk industry experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cGiven its significant concentration of drybulk activity, we believe that Copenhagen is the ideal location for our European commercial operations,\u201d<\/em>&nbsp;Gary Vogel, Eagle Bulk\u2019s CEO, commented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In late July, Eagle Bulk reported&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/worldmaritimenews.com\/archives\/280941\/challenging-market-pushes-eagle-bulk-into-loss\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a net loss of USD 6 million<\/a>&nbsp;for the second quarter of this year and a 7 percent decrease in its revenues.
