A Customer Advisory dated October 30 said the MV One Aquila \u201csuffered collapsed containers due to severe weather conditions\u201d as the vessel was en route to Long Beach, California.<\/p>\n

As a result, the ship has been diverted to Tacoma, Washington, where a survey will of the vessel will take place. The ship\u2019s estimated arrival at the Port of Tacoma is November 6.<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t immediately clear how many containers were involved or if any had fallen overboard.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is only the interim report of the progress and ONE will be advising all customers regarding those plans as they are concluded in due course,\u201d ONE said in a statement.<\/p>\n

The Panama-flagged One Aquila was built in 2018 and has capacity of 14,000 TEUs. AIS ship tracking data shows the ship departed Yantian, China on October 21, headed for Tacoma.<\/p>\n
