The photo was reportedly taken October 13 and published by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/FFOSTT\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fishermen and Friends of the Sea (FFOS)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/uk.reuters.com\/article\/us-pdvsa-eni-vessel\/idled-venezuelan-floating-oil-facility-under-repairs-amid-environmental-concerns-source-idUKKBN2712H5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Reuters report<\/a> today citing an anonymous source familiar with the matter, said the idled facility is undergoing repairs to replace the vessel\u2019s valves.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\" type=\"e63c8d3fd7ce5147136de0f9-text\/javascript\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>FSO Nabarima was built in 2005. The facility is operated by a joint venture by Venezuela state oil company PDVSA and Italy\u2019s Eni, which have been exploring options to offload crude from the vessel.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>It has been idled since at least early 2019 due the Trump Administration sanctions on PDVSA.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Over the last few months, the FSO has experienced multiple issues that have raised serious environmental concerns if the vessel were to sink.
