{"id":18004,"date":"2020-09-22T20:33:51","date_gmt":"2020-09-22T17:33:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.al-sindbad.net\/sentinel-marine-last-of-nine-newbuild-vessels-arrives-in-aberdeen\/18004\/"},"modified":"2020-09-22T20:33:51","modified_gmt":"2020-09-22T17:33:51","slug":"sentinel-marine-last-of-nine-newbuild-vessels-arrives-in-aberdeen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.al-sindbad.net\/sentinel-marine-last-of-nine-newbuild-vessels-arrives-in-aberdeen\/18004\/","title":{"rendered":"Sentinel Marine: Last of nine newbuild vessels arrives in Aberdeen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Malin Sentinel, the final newbuild vessel of nine in a \u00a3150m investment programme by Sentinel Marine, has arrived in Aberdeen. <\/strong><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"oembed-component\" data-type=\"youtube\" data-cookieconsent=\"marketing\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Sentinel Marine, a Scottish offshore support vessel provider, placed an order for nine new ships back in 2015. <\/p>\n<p>The Malin Sentinel vessel sailed from Dalian Port in China via Singapore and the Suez Canal. <\/p>\n<p>The journey took seven weeks and totalled 11,451 miles, Sentinel Marine said on Tuesday. <\/p>\n<p>The Malin Sentinel has completed sea trials and now takes up assignments in the North Sea where the emergency response and rescue vessel (ERRV) will support drilling projects for a range of charterers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rory Deans<\/strong>, chief executive officer at Sentinel Marine says, <em>\u201cTaking delivery of the Malin Sentinel, which began its journey at the height of global lockdowns meant that this was one of the most challenging deliveries we have faced.
