National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) revealed plans to expand its market presence in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, in line with the shipping and logistics company\u2019s long-term strategy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The announcement was made at a grand ceremony held in Singapore earlier this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe stronger presence will help the company gain deeper insights into market trends as well as customer needs in chemicals and logistics sectors in Singapore and the wider APAC region,\u201d Bahri explained in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The company added that the expansion will enable Bahri Logistics and Bahri Chemicals, two of Bahri\u2019s five business units, to market their offerings, acquire new clients and channelize communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bahri also intends to expand the services of the company\u2019s other business units to the APAC region in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Over the past 41 years, Bahri has steadily expanded market presence in the maritime industry. The company currently has offices in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, the USA, and India, in addition to a network of agents across the Middle East, Africa, the USA, Europe, and Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bahri Logistics currently operates six new 26,000 dwt multipurpose vessels on a regular liner schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The company\u2019s second business unit, Bahri Chemicals, owns and operates more than 30 chemical\/product tankers with a capacity of more than 1 million dwt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
