DRY BULK
Al-Sindbad is a very active player in the sphere of chartering and dry bulk vessel operations. Within the short span of 5 years Al-Sindbad has carried out substantial number of contracts not only in the international sea routes but also done coastal carriage in India.
Shipment sizes ranging from 5000 to over 75000 tons have been carried during the interim. Almost all sizes of vessels, right upto post-panamax have been chartered in, to do these fixtures.
As regards to cargo types, the group has carried grain, ore, coal, aggregates, HBI (Hot Briquettes Iron) and DRI (Direct Reduced Iron), amongst other bulk cargo. This entire activity is conducted by group company Al-Sindbad Maritime DMC EST, based out of Yemen.
The group is also involved in carriage of coastal cargo in India. Apart from spot cargo which is fixed for carriage from time to time, Al-Sindbad is also involved in coastal contracts of affreightment (COA)

After many successful years in the International markets of Dry Cargo Chartering and Liner Service, In 2015 Al-Sindbad ventured into the Tank Chartering business consisting of a young team backed by experienced management.
We act as Independent brokers providing services to both owners and charterers on a no win, no fees basis. Our approach as independent shipbrokers is focused on expertise rather than the scale. Furthermore, the close cooperation with our offices in India, Dubai, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Kazakhstan and U.S has helped the tanker business.
